英国机械工程师协会（Institution of Mechanical Engineers，简称IMechE）成立于1847年，是世界上建立最早的机械工程学术团体。150多年它来一直是“机械工程师之家”，其会员遍布全球，超过75,000 人。IMechE也是英国法定的机械工程师资格鉴定机构。

IMechE现刊库包括18种机械工程领域的顶级期刊，内容几乎涵盖了该领域的所有主题，其中17种期刊收录于Thomson Reuters 2012 JCR（期刊引证报告）。学科范畴：能源与动力、火车与高铁、汽车工程、航空航天、海洋工程、发动机研究、振动与控制、自动控制、医学工程、复合材料、智能材料等领域。
