佳能（中国）有限公司董事长兼首席执行官小泽秀树告诉记者，面对新冠肺炎疫情这场严峻挑战，政府面向企业进行了精准调研，并有针对性地陆续出台多项优惠政策，为佳能等外资企业提供了减税降费等政策支持。小泽表示，随着中国政府后续一系列刺激经济的*策出台，以及各行业携手同心迎接这一挑战，2020年中国经济发展依然会保持强劲增长动力。

高通公司首席执行官史蒂夫·莫伦科夫说：“我们深知中国人民坚韧不拔，对他们有能力克服目前的挑战充满信心。高通对中国经济发展保持长期向好的趋势充满信心。”高通表示，将按照中国政府有关规定，确保员工安全返回工作岗位。此外，将持续不断与中国伙伴保持密切联系，努力支持他们继续开展业务。

美国苹果公司首席执行官蒂姆·库克日前在接受媒体采访时也说，“中国正在控制住疫情”，他认为“疫情影响是暂时的，而不是长期的。现在有理由乐观，让我们拭目以待。”

国际商会秘书长约翰·丹顿近日也表示，“当疫情得到控制时，中国经济活动将稳步恢复，投资者将可以在更多领域寻找商机。”

联合国儿基会又向中国运送医疗物资

UNICEF Flies In More Medical Supplies

联合国儿童基金会3月1日在上海向中国政府移交最新一批援助中国的医疗物资。这批物资重量超过12吨，将用于支持中国抗击新冠肺炎疫情。

The latest UNICEF shipment of medical supplies for health workers, weighing more than 12 tons, was delivered to Shanghai on March 1 to support its response to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

这批物资包括口罩、防护服、护目镜、医用手套、体温计、样本采集包和洗手液等，总体积约为100立方米，由联合国儿童基金会从德国采购，用于帮助填补防控疫情所需的基本物资缺口。

The 100 cubic meter consignment, procured by UNICEF from Germany, includes masks, protective clothing, goggles, medical gloves, thermometers, sample collection kits, and hand sanitizers, to help bridge the gap of essential supplies required for those working to curb the virus.

除提供应急物资外，联合国儿童基金会还携手世界卫生组织、国家卫生健康委员会及其他合作伙伴，加强公众健康信息的普及、澄清错误信息，从而使儿童、孕产妇、青少年及其家人进一步了解针对2019冠状病毒病的预防措施。

In addition to providing emergency supplies, UNICEF is also working with the World Health Organization, the National Health Commission and other partners to strengthen risk communication and tackle misinformation so that children, pregnant women and their families know how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

联合国儿童基金会与中国疾病预防控制中心合作，为全国各地的医疗卫生工作者开发了疫情防控线上培训课程。

Working alongside the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, UNICEF helped develop online training modules for health workers across the country on the prevention and treatment of the disease.

还针对孕产妇和儿童健康防护编写了一套常见问题解答，制作了多媒体健康科普材料，通过社交媒体向大众宣传。

A set of frequently asked questions and health guidance for pregnant women and children were also developed and circulated.

艾尔建投资1.6亿欧元建生物制剂新工厂启用

Allergan Marks Openning Of New €160M Biologics Facility

全球生物制药行业企业艾尔建宣布，旗下全新尖端工厂Biologics 2 (B2)正式启用。作为一家总部位于爱尔兰的生物制药企业，新工厂总投资1.6亿欧元。

Allergan plc, the global integrated biopharmaceutical leader headquartered in Ireland , marked the opening of its €160m state-of-the-art Biologics 2 facility.

The new facility will enhance Ireland’s position as a strategic global hub for Allergans’ flagship products. This brings Allergan’s total investment in Ireland since it began operations in the country to more than €750m.

The new jobs will bring Allergan’s total employment in Ireland to more than 2,000 across the country. One in ten employees in Allergan’s global workforce are now based in Ireland.

Aston Martin Clears Out Board As Losses Widen

据英媒报道，在“极具挑战性的时期”，阿斯顿马丁的年亏损达1.04亿英镑，这家豪华汽车制造商宣布改组董事会。

Aston Martin plunged to a £104m annual loss during an "extremely challenging period", as the luxury carmarker announced a clear out of its board.

The company posted a £104.3m pre-tax loss for its full year, down 53pc on 2018. Revenue fell 9pc to £997.3m.

Aston Martin's finance chief, Mark Wilson, and chairman, Penny Hughes, will also depart, the company said.

National ExpressWill Not Buy Another Diesel Bus

National Express says that it will not buy another diesel bus as it aims to have a zero-emission fleet by 2035.

The operator of the intercity and airport shuttle white coaches also runs buses, mainly in the West Midlands.

With about 10 per cent of its buses already running on electricity, it intends to have all its 1,600 vehicles running on zero-emissions by 2030.
