西浦国际商学院第二期正念沙龙(IBSS)成功举办

MBAChina网讯】近期,第二期正念沙龙在西浦国际商学院(IBSS)举办。我们邀请到了来自英国的Chris Tamdjidi,他不仅是卡拉帕和卡拉帕酒店的联合创始人和董事,还曾在英国议会就正念发言,领导德国议会的项目,还在牛津正念中心教授大师课,有着至少10年的领导力发展经验。

Recently, the 2nd mindfulness salon was held in IBSS successfully. We invited Chris Tamdjidi from Europe, the co-founder and director of the Kalapa Academy and Kalapa hotels. He had given a speech on mindfulness to the UK Parliament, led mindfulness project for German Parliament. He also teaches master classes at the Oxford Mindfulness Center and has at least 10 years of leadership development experience.

内容回顾

当今时代世界充满了越来越多的不确定性。如同需要一个健康的身体一样,人们还需要一个坚定而专注的大脑,去适应快节奏的生活和充斥着干扰的信息。

Today’s world faces more and more uncertainties. Just as we need a healthy body, we also need a strong mind to adapt to fast-paced life full of distraction.

正念是有意识地、不带任何评判地专注于每一刻不断展现的体验所产生的一种觉察。

Mindfulness is the awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally.

压力被誉为21世纪的头号杀手,然而压力本身并不是问题,无法从压力中恢复才是。被动接收的海量负面新闻,无处不在的外界刺激,让大脑在无意识中变得负面而常常缺失理智。这种情况下,对于情绪和专注力的控制变得更为重要。

Stress is the number one killer in the 21st century, but stress itself is not a big problem. The problem happens when people cannot recover from it. Being passively overloaded with huge amount of negative news, constantly distracted by external stimuli, the mind unconsciously become more negative and lose the sanity. So regulating emotions and attention becomes more and more important.

正念不仅对于个人生活状态有好处,还对于领导力有着卓越的意义。人脑的性能非常强大,甚至超越了优秀的计算机,然而人脑的显意识的功能并不出众。正念,可以帮助开发大脑的潜意识,达到提高脑力的作用。同时,正念还可以让在繁忙工作中的领导者,通过活跃副交感神经工作的方式,高效地从疲惫中恢复精力

Mindfulness is not only beneficial to personal wellbeing, but also can significantly improve leadership. Human’s mind is very powerful, even more powerful than excellent computer, but conscious mind is only part of the mind. Mindfulness can help improve unconscious mind and thus strength our mental capacity. At the same time, mindfulness can help busy leaders to recover efficiently from fatigue by activating parasympathetic work.

正念,并不是消极地“什么都不想”,而是学会以坚定强大的意念,和喧嚣的生活工作环境共处,和自己纷繁的思绪情绪共处。长期的正念训练有助于建立起一个积极的生活态度,同时又会心存温柔,包容世界,悦纳自己

Mindfulness is not being passive and “think nothing”, but to learn how to work with fanatic work and life environment, how to work with our own thoughts and emotion. Long-term mindfulness training could help establish a positive attitude towards life, and have a gentle, inclusive, and acceptable attitude to ourselves.

嘉宾Chris带领听众短暂地体验了正念,并鼓励大家积极交流冥想的感受。拥抱、悦纳负面情绪,训练自己的核心脑力和心力,已经成为了新职场时代中的必修课。

Chris led a short guided mindfulness meditation and encouraged everyone to share their experiences. Accepting negative emotions, and training your core mental and emotional capabilities have become a necessary skill in the new working world.

活动小结

正念冥想进入新的摩登时代以来,逐渐褪去宗教神秘色彩而多了更多的科学研究支撑。它不仅在心理治疗领域有着重要的地位,还在工作领导力中有着广泛应用的前景。

Mindfulness becomes more accessible to people when it isolated from the mystery of religion and supported by scientific research. It is not only important for psychotherapy, but could be applied widely in workplace and leadership.

这次正念沙龙的参与者跨度很广,不仅有来自不同国家的本科生、研究生,还有已经有着丰富工作经验的职业人士。在不同生活状态中的人群,都可以尝试将正念变成习惯,融入自己的生活方式。

The participants in the salon came from various background, including undergraduate students, postgraduate students and professionals who came after work. People from all different kinds of background could try to cultivate the habit of mindfulness and incorporate it into their own life.
