清华大学经济管理学院顾问委员会成立于2000年10月，由知名企业家、商学院院长、知名学者（包括诺贝尔经济学奖获得者）以及我国政府及财经部门领导人组成。学院首任院长朱镕基担任顾问委员会名誉主席。清华经管学院顾问委员会的使命是加强清华大学经济管理学院与外部各界的联系，提升学院在科研和教学方面的整体水平，帮助学院建设成为世界一流的经济管理学院。

今年学院顾问委员会新增3位委员，新增1位接任委员。新增3位委员分别为戴尔科技集团董事长兼首席执行官迈克尔·戴尔（Michael Dell），宝马集团董事长科鲁格（Harald Krüger），软银集团股份有限公司法人代表董事长兼总裁孙正义（Masayoshi Son）。新增接任委员为拉坦恩·塔塔（Ratan N. Tata），现任塔塔儿公司、塔塔工业、塔塔汽车、塔塔钢铁和塔塔化工荣誉主席。接任委员所在机构的前任曾经是学院顾问委员会委员，因工作变动不再担任委员。
