Before joining the Swedish Foreign Service, Mr. Larko held several positions within marketing and business intelligence at SCA, a large Swedish MNC in the paper and hygiene business. He has been working for the company both in his native Sweden as well as Austria, Slovakia and China. He has been involved in forming the innovation strategy for the company and developing the ways to reach consumer and customer insights.

　　After joining the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai, Mr. Larko has mainly been involved in coordinating the Swedish Presidency of the EU in the Yangtze River Delta Region, supporting the Swedish participation in World EXPO2010 as well as promoting Swedish business interests and the image of Sweden in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui.
