MBA Activity

On March 7, a Japanese culture salon activity was held on ECNU campus to warmly welcome Ryohei Watanabe, dual degree student from Yokohama National University. Leaders and faculty members from ECNU MBA center attended the event. Prof. Yang Yong extended the warmest welcome of the MBA center towards Ryohei Watanabe for his decision to pursue a master’s degree from ECNU after his study finishes in YNU. Mr. Ma, class advisor for MBA class 1801, expressed his wishes and hopes for the new student from Japan. In return, Ryohei Watanabe revealed his intention to study Chinese language and culture, successfully complete his overseas study in ECNU and possibly contribute to Sino-Japan relationship in his own way.

on Entrepreneurship, Financing and Listing

(1) Proper capital flow is crucial to an enterprise’s routine operational needs. Marketization should always go before investment. A leader’s chrisma and entrepreneurial spirit play a vital role in a company’s development.

(2) Financing ought to vary as per different stages of development for an enterprise. In the early stage, government funding would be a good place to start. Then as the project grows from angel funding to public placement funding, one should endeavor to expand to new markets and territories or undergo industrial mergers & acquisitions to obtain adequate investment.

(3) The success of project financing lies in three factors: competitiveness, packaging and luck. In actual practice, a company’s estimated value is always influenced by supply and demand. Proper packaging of a company calls for mixture of the status quo and prospective achievements. Moreover, the business plan of a company should be succinct and user-friendly. An excellent business plan should be able to arouse investors’ potential interest.
