On March 8th, "Peking University Capital Market Forum", organized by Guanghua School of Management, had its opening at Guanghua Building1. The first lecture was brought by Qi Bin on "China's Economic Siege and Breakthrough-Capital Market and China's Economic and social development". Mr. Qi Bin is the director of China Securities Regulatory Commission Research Center.

In his lecture, Mr. Qi had an in-depth analysis on economic development situation of the world's major economies in the past year and revealed the reasons of the Wall Street Occupation and Europe debt crisis. By analysing the three hot issues—"Research and Analysis on European&American Financial Turmoil", "The Tangle of China's Economic Transformation" and "Defects of china's Economic Structure", he pointed out the importance of industrial upgrading, the establishment of innovative mechanism and investment information platform.
