Dean Nohria Addresses the Class of 2013
HBS Class of 2013, friends and family, and members of the HBS community. Good afternoon and welcome. Every graduating class has something that distinguishes it, a special quality by which it’s remembered. In the future, when I look back on the Class of 2013, I will remember you as a group of pioneers, as students who experienced so many firsts during your two years with us. You were the class that experienced our year-long celebration of the W50. You were the class that helped us open the i-Lab. And most importantly, you were the first class to experience FIELD, the most dramatic reinvention of our MBA curriculum since HBS began using case studies almost 100 years ago.

Stay Connected at Commencement (#HBS13)
The white tents have been erected, caps and gowns have been distributed, and the stage sits proudly on Baker Lawn. With the Harvard Business School (HBS) Class Day and 103rd Commencement just days away, the School would like to ensure that, whether present on campus or supporting a student from far away, the family and friends of our graduates can follow the activities of this momentous occasion.

HBS Announces 2013 HBS Leadership Fellows
After receiving their degrees on Thursday, nineteen members of the Harvard Business School MBA Class of 2013 will begin working in nonprofit and public-sector organizations through the School's Leadership Fellows Program. Now in its twelfth year, the program provides Fellows with a one-year position in a nonprofit or public-sector organization where they can make a significant impact. Since 2001, the program has placed 106 Fellows with 47 organizations. Participating organizations pay Fellows $45,000, and Harvard Business School (HBS) supplements that with a one-year grant of $50,000. Throughout the year, Fellows also benefit from access to HBS resources and return to campus for organized networking and professional development events with other Fellows.
